As our timeshare practice continues to grow, MDK is excited to announce that we have formed a Timeshare Practice Group. Under the guidance of Timeshare Practice Group Director Valerie Brown and Senior Attorneys Cynthia David and Michael Carleton, this dynamic team will work with clients to ensure they continue to have personalized support, creative problem solving, and devoted business partners.
A team of 10 talented individuals will work with our attorney cohort, including the newly appointed leadership team:
Timeshare Practice Group Manager – Angela Less
Angela, who has been with MDK since 2015, has held multiple positions within our First Legal department, including team lead and assistant manager. In 2020, Angela accepted a timeshare-specific assistant manager role and has since been working closely with the team to further develop specific processes and increase efficiencies. In her new role as manager, Angela will lead the group’s operations while also creating an ongoing education plan for the team that will help them keep skills current while achieving individual professional goals.
Timeshare Practice Group Assistant Manager – Holly Walton
During Holly’s six years with MDK, she has held several leadership roles, including a team lead position with our Intake team. For the past three years, she has served as an assistant manager on our Accounting team – a role that has developed her knowledge of timeshare timelines and process as well as helped her build rapport with many client contacts. Holly has impeccable attention to detail and is a great team member who will work closely with Angela and Valerie to continue to build the team and lead the department.
Timeshare Practice Group Team Lead – Amanda O’Brien
Amanda started at MDK in 2015 and has held positions previously with our Client Services and First Legal departments. In 2019, her role within First Legal changed to focus on timeshare files, and over the past year, Amanda has been instrumental in helping build the timeshare First Legal team. She has helped create and optimize training materials, provided critical initial training to new hires, and helped troubleshoot the overall process. While working closely with the entire timeshare leadership team, Amanda will manage the team by monitoring workloads and resolving escalated issues.
