MDK processes your personal information fora variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with us, including:

·      In the scope of our legal representation of our clients, as permitted by applicable law; and,

·      To respond to your inquiries and to solve any potential issues you might have with our legal services.

MDK does not use your information for profiling or automated decision-making.

3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION? 

MDK only processes your personal information when we believe it is necessary and a valid legal reason to do so exists such as to fulfill our legitimate business interest, fulfill our contractual obligations, to comply with laws, or to provide you with information you have requested.  

 

4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

MDK may share your personal information with our affiliates, in which case we require those affiliates to honor this privacy notice. MDK may share your personal information with our service providers pursuant to a written contract between us and each service provider. Service providers may be for-profit entities who may processes the information while providing services to MDK.

MDK may transfer your personal information internationally for the purposes of service abroad of judicial and extrajudicial documents in civil or commercial matters in the scope of legal representation of our clients and in accordance with Hague Conference on Private International Law Convention 14 of November 14, 1965 and other applicable laws and rules of civil practice.

MDK does not sell any personal information to any person or entity.      

 

5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

MDK may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to access or store information, or for security and authentication purposes. MDK does not utilize cookies in any way to collect or gather information pertaining to your Internet use, trends, tendencies, habits, or sites visited.

 

6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

MDK will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted bylaw, such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements. We are generally required under our legal obligations to retain our records, which may include your personal information, for a period of ten (10) years. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible or immediately delete such information.

MDK has implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information via our website is at your own risk. You should only access the Service provided on our website within a secure environment.

 

8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

Upon receiving your inquiry, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information in our records. We will only use personal information provided in relation to your inquiry to verify your identity or authority to make the request for information.

MDK has collected the below categories of personal information in the past twelve (12) months.

·      Identifiers: Identifiers may include real name, postal address, telephone or mobile contact numbers, online identifiers, internet protocol address, email address, account name, and other similar identifiers.

·      Geolocation Information: Geolocation information may include postal address, general location information (such as city, state or geographic area).

·      Professional or Employment Information: Professional or employment information may include job title, work history, professional qualifications, or business contact details.

How do we use and share your personal information?

MDK may use your personal information for our own business purposes, including in the scope of legal representation of our clients. Information about how your information may be shared can be located in this privacy notice.

MDK has not sold any personal information to a third party for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. MDK will not sell personal information in the future belonging to website visitors, users, and other consumers.
