Alyk Oflazian is a senior attorney at MDK's Philadelphia office with a practice spanning over ten years. She focuses on bankruptcy defense cases including filing proofs of claim and motions for relief. Alyk began her legal career at a mid-size creditors’ rights firm where she handled a large litigation caseload for several years. Although bankruptcy matters have been much of her focus, Alyk has experience with foreclosure document review and training new associates.
While attending Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, Alyk was a legal intern for the Honorable Mary C. Jacobson in the Chancery Division. She volunteered in the Landlord Tenant Mediation Program in Philadelphia, for which she earned a Rubin Public Interest Award. Alyk’s professional affiliations include the Philadelphia Bar Association where she served as the liaison for the Real Property section.
Alyk has long been an advocate for those in need by devoting her time and talents to several local causes. She served on the Tangled Title Fund Advisory Committee, a grant program to help preserve affordable housing, prevent homelessness and strengthen communities. Alyk also handled the transfer of title documents for the Volunteers for the Indigent Project.
