As a litigator, negotiator, and subject matter authority, Ann Marie Johnson focuses her skills on supporting the needs of MDK’s mortgage banking clients. Ann Marie calls upon her 20 years of experience to help clients fashion rational solutions to litigation and regulatory issues.
Ann Marie Johnson is an attorney in the Cleveland office and has exclusively practiced in the areas of real estate litigation, foreclosure and creditors' rights since 2005. After becoming licensed in 2000, Ann Marie spent her first five years litigating business, real estate, construction, employment and domestic matters. Following that, she worked for a boutique firm, focusing exclusively for six years on real estate litigation, defending title claims for insured lenders and owners, handling matters involving title insurance negligence and direct real estate litigation for banks.
Ann Marie has been employed at Manley Deas since 2011. She has experience in all states of litigation in Common Pleas and Appellate Courts throughout northeastern Ohio, including arguing appeals, briefing and arguing Motions, preparing witnesses, and briefing and defending appeals. Ann Marie has also successfully tried over forty cases while at Manley Deas. She has also mediated hundreds of cases.
Ann Marie volunteers her time as a Treasurer of her children’s Parent Teacher Association, Treasurer of a judicial campaign, a committee member of her Home Owners’ Association, and has mentored new attorneys through Cleveland-Marshall’s mentoring program.
