Ted Cahill is a multifaceted lawyer who sees matters from technological, business, and legal points of view. Widely recognized for his knowledge and increasing visibility within the bankruptcy sector, Ted’s practice is focused within the mortgage banking, automobile, and timeshare industries.
Edward (Ted) Cahill is the director for the bankruptcy practice across all of MDK’s jurisdictions. In his role as director, Ted is the subject matter expert on bankruptcy law. He manages the firm’s bankruptcy attorneys and is an active voice at industry events. Ted defends clients at both the trial and appellate level.
Ted is a frequent contributor to the MDK Quarterly, a publication that highlights insights and opinions into legal issues. Ted’s civic contributions include participation in the Southern District of Ohio Bankruptcy Law Attorney Advisory Committee and serving on NACTT's Mortgage Servicing Transfer Subcommittee. In addition, Ted is a member of the Southern District of Ohio Bench Bar Planning Committee. For his significant contributions to the field, he has been recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the area of bankruptcy from 2019-2022 as well as earning Best Lawyers in America accolade in 2024.
