Zachariah Manchester is the Practice Group Director of Illinois, and operates in the firm's Chicago office. In his role as director, Zach is the subject matter expert on Illinois law. He oversees MDK’s Illinois attorneys and is an active voice at industry events. The focus of Zach's practice is representing mortgage lenders and servicers in all aspects of mortgage foreclosure proceedings, including creditor/ servicer defense. Zach began his legal career at a boutique firm where he practiced commercial and real estate litigation.

Prior to joining MDK, Zach gained three years of experience representing lenders and property owners in title defense litigation including foreclosure actions. In addition, Zach brings valuable knowledge related to regulatory compliance and attorney oversight from his experience with a mortgage servicing company.

Zach’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.  He is a contributor to the MDK Quarterly, a publication that highlights insights and opinions into legal issues.
