Jasmin Hernandez is a skilled Florida lawyer who focuses on timeshare default litigation, handling cases from referral to conclusion. She uses a practical, business-minded approach to facilitate favorable outcomes in a timely and efficient manner.

Jasmin Hernandez is an attorney at the firm's Orlando office and practices in the area of non-judicial timeshare foreclosure. She manages and litigates a volume caseload of default servicing matters, delivering exceptional results for MDK's clients. A natural leader, Jasmin provides guidance and mentorship to a team of skilled paralegals and legal assistants, helping to ensure the best possible service and support.

When asked about her greatest strengths as an attorney, Jasmin says: “My adaptability and resilience are two of my greatest strengths. Adapting to changes in laws and finding more efficient ways to practice is essential in this field. As for resilience, I faced the challenge of attending law school during the pandemic and prioritized my physical health to ensure I was mentally and physically prepared for the demanding workload. The reward is worth the effort, and I always approach challenges head-on with determination."

Jasmin is a distinguished graduate of Florida A&M University College of Law, where she showcased her exceptional leadership skills. She actively participated in the Student Bar Association and represented the 3L class as a liaison, ensuring that student concerns were heard.

Jasmin was invited to join Florida A&M’s law review as a first-year student due to her academic excellence. She was the editor of the publication and wrote several articles showcasing her versatility. Jasmin also devoted her time to tutoring other students in property law, criminal law and torts, contributing to their academic success.

Jasmin's outstanding achievements in law school led her to become Rakuten's first-ever legal intern, where she worked alongside a team of eight attorneys specializing in various areas of law, including sports/entertainment and privacy law.

Jasmin strongly identifies with the value of respect among all of MDK's values. In her own words: "Respect is paramount - it's a fundamental right for all. Irrespective of position, I treat everyone with equal dignity. Respect goes a long way, for you never know the battles someone might be fighting. I firmly believe that goodness always finds its way."

Jasmin, who is starting her career in law at MDK, aims to set an example for women from minority backgrounds. She wants to inspire confidence in being your authentic self- and to never dim your light.
